In the movie "The Replacements" Gene Hackman comments to a news reporter at halftime of a big game that his players "need heart."  Well, if "heart" is what's needed, he would love Kristal Pierce!

Kristal is this week's Caught in the Act Award recipient and her nomination letter from Shastine Cunningham tells exactly why she was a shoe-in for this incredible acknowledgement.

Kristal Pierce is a very loving and caring person. I've known her for about 4 years now.  She was my daughter's home health nurse. She worked with my daughter for almost a year! I couldn't have asked for a better nurse. Then she started working at a pediatric daycare with "sick" kids including my daughter. Over the years everytime anyone called or needed something she was there. She never asked for anything in return. She would stay at the hospital with the kids she grew attached to. Every Christmas or birthday she would buy a present for the kids. She put everyone before her needs. This past December my brother in law passed away from leukemia. While he was home on hospice she came over everyday and helped make his last few days comfortable. She would buy food and bring it over for the family. She helped out as much as possible and did what she could. It doesn't matter if you're family or a friend or even a stranger she will be there. She has a heart of gold. She is a inspiration to me and has impacted a lot of lives.

Kristal Pierce, thank you for being one of the biggest reasons why this is the greatest place in America to live!

And because you've been "Caught in the Act" the gang at Silver Star Steak House and Silver Star Smokehouse have a $100 Gift Certificate for you and the family to come have dinner on them!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Kristal to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
