Once again this week, we've gotten to meet another of the "cool kids." Those people that have put others' needs above their own and strive to make this the most awesome place to live in the world. And this week we visited with Eric Lafitte.

Actually Eric has been recognized as our Caught in the Act Award recipient before, but apparently this guy seems to impress everyone he comes in contact with. The first time we met him, it was his employees who nominated him, and this time it was his friend, Hunter Patten, who sent in this touching nomination letter.

I would like to nominate Eric Lafitte. Eric is a fantastic person that goes above and beyond the call of duty on anything he's tasked with doing. Eric is very active at his church and always has a smile on his face and a willing heart ready to help at a moments notice. Eric is very involved with the Bossier High Football team and ensures that those boys and coached are fed before every football game. He also helps make sure that the teachers at Bossier High are noticed by helping to organize a meal for them every year for teacher appreciation. I couldn't tell you how many times he's found out about a needy kid or family and made sure that every effort was made to make sure they were fed and clothed and in some cases made sure they had a place to stay. His love and compassion is a testament to his big heart and that is why I want to nominate him.

Eric Lafitte, thank you for being one of the "good guys" and a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!

And because you've been "Caught in the Act" the gang at Silver Star Smokehouse have a $100 Gift Certificate for you and the family to come have dinner on them!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Eric to let him know that he was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
