This is something you definitively don't see everyday.

A group of Orca whales were spotted swimming about 50 miles south of South Pass, Louisiana. From the looks of the video, there are at least 5 'Killer Whales' in a pod that normally wouldn't be that close to land.

According to the National Wildlife Federation’s website,

about 500 orcas, also known as killer whales, live in the Gulf, feeding on tuna and dolphins in deep waters.

Scientists hope that the presence of this certain pod is not a result of an environmental issue.
