Amarillo, Texas native Kevin Fowler has made himself a mainstay in the world of Texas Country and he did it the good old fashioned "Texas" way.  He worked his butt off, and his newest album "How Country Are Ya?" is living proof!

Kevin will perform several of the songs from that new album and loads of his other Texas Country staples to The Stage at Silverstar in Bossier City this Friday night, July 7th.

According to Fowler, when discussing the new album, "I wanted to feel right at home, go back to the well, and not get into any outside influences. I really felt like I wanted to make music closer to all my anthems that people scream along to at shows.”

KevinFowler.com also reminds us that How Country Are Ya? is chock full of Texas-centric collaborations. Earl Dibbles Jr., the alter-ego of Dallas-bred Granger Smith, provides the disc’s no-nonsense intro. Amy Rankin, one half of Austin’s The Rankin Twins, croons with Fowler on the emotionally evocative number “Before Somebody Gets Hurt.”

San Antonio’s Grammy winners Los Texmaniacs crank up the South-of-the-border ambiance of “Borracho Grande.” Kingwood, Texas’ rebel-rouser Davin James lends his big personality to the hilarious “Chicken Wing.” And Huntsville, Texas newcomer Cody Johnson stirs straight-up country action on “Guitars and Guns.”

Doors will open for this one at 7:00 pm and the concert begins at 8:00 pm.  And concert goers must be at least 21.

Tickets are $20 at The Stage at Silverstar or online at TheStageBossier.com
