Keith Dillard sounded like he was nearly moved to tears when we read him the incredible letter that his wife, Ashley, had submitted for his nomination for the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

She made no bones about it. She's completely amazed with her husband's giving spirit and the lessons in kindness that he is teaching their children. And it was that letter from Ashley, that made it so easy to name Keith as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

There are so many reasons to nominate my husband for this award...but the main one is his generous, giving, kind heart. He has always been passionate about helping others! He’s involved with a few non profit agencies in town...it’s impossible to name all of them that he has helped, but The Fuller Center for Housing is one. This past summer he went on a mission trip to an orphanage in Mexico with our church youth group, to minister to and love on kids that had been abanondoned or neglected. Having attended this trip and being VP of Roy’s Kids, has only fueled his passion to help kids during this time of year. From collecting bicycles to change, He teaches our kids (and me) that helping others is the best, most satisfying thing you can do in life. Always teaching them to keep in mind that God can shovel in way more blessings than we could ever shovel out. He is a person d efinitely worthy of this award!

Keith Dillard, thank you for being one of the "good guys" and being a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!

And because you've been 'Caught in the Act' the gang at Silver Star Smokehouse and Silver Star Grille have a $100 Gift Certificate for you and the family to come have dinner!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Keith to let him know that he was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
