There's something about life in a small town. It's either really good or really bad. Course, if you're in McLeod, Texas, life is better because Mrs. Jonie Smith is a part of it.

Jonie is this week's Caught in the Act Award recipient and her nomination letter from Cindy Jones tells exactly why she is worthy of recognition for making life in McLeod worth living.

Jonie does so many things for everyone.  Even if she might not agree she will be there sharing her faith and love. Retired from McLeod school, she still drives the bus so the students can participate and experience the good things. She drives the elderly for their weekly dinners so they can go out and enjoy living. If someone is in time of need she's there even though she probably doesn't want them to know.  She wants no rewards or recognition; just to share her love and faith.  She truly loves God life family and friends. So deserving of recognition bit never expects any

Jonie Smith, thank you for being one of the biggest reasons why this is the greatest place in America to live!

And because you've been "Caught in the Act" the gang at Silver Star Steak House and Silver Star Smokehouse have a $100 Gift Certificate for you and the family to come have dinner on them!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Jonie to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
