Jonah Gonzales is Kiss Country’s First Ever ‘Hometown Riser’

In late November, Kiss Country launched our first ever "Hometown Riser" competition!  This competition allowed area singers the opportunity to submit videos of their original country music and vie for a chance to go on to compete against other Hometown Risers from across the country and possibly get on "the Hot Seat" on the Taste of Country Night Show with Sam Alex.

Several of the area's finest singers submitted their videos and we posted all of those to our Kiss Country YouTube channel.  The video with the most views at midnight on December 15 was declared our winner.

That video was "Sorry, Jesus" from Jonah Gonzales, and Jonah is Kiss Country's first ever "Hometown Riser."

Congratulations Jonah!  Job well done!
