Jerry Lawler has Heart Attack on Live TV
The beauty of professional wrestling is that you never quite know if what you saw was real or not. Monday Night RAW was in Montreal this week and Jerry Lawler collapsed on live TV. Fans may have been unsure if they were being put on or not. The truth is that Jerry Lawler suffered a heart attack on live TV.
“The King” was given CPR and taken to a nearby medical facility. Reports are now that Lawler is in stable condition. His ex-wife Stacy tweeted that he received a stent and balloon.
The 62 year-old King of Memphis Wrestling had wrestled minutes before his collapse.
Jerry Lawler is best know to me as the wrestler who carried on a years long feud with comedian Andy Kaufman. They made TV history with their antics on The David Letterman show.
