Jason Aldean's life and country music career will be highlighted by an upcoming exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The organization revealed the news on Monday (Jan. 9), the first in a string of announcements about its 2017 programming.

Aldean's Country Music Hall of Fame exhibit is scheduled to open on May 26, and run through Nov. 5, according to the Hall of Fame. Rolling Stone Country reports that an archivist has been going through memorabilia at Aldean's home for the last few months in preparation for the exhibit, which will examine the singer's rise to fame and impact on the genre.

"I am extremely honored to be invited to have an exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum," Aldean says. "That building is filled with the artists who helped create and shape country music, so to be a part of that legacy is something I am very proud of."

Each year, the Country Music Hall of Fame features rotating exhibits about country music's stars of today. In 2017, to celebrate its 50th anniversary, the Hall of Fame is releasing its entire slate of planned exhibits for the year in one week (Jan. 9-13), instead of revealing plans throughout the year. Aldean's exhibit is the first to be announced; fans can follow along on the Hall of Fame's website and social media accounts, and enter to win trips to each exhibit's opening reception.

The ACM's reigning Entertainer of the Year, Aldean released his newest album, They Don’t Know, in September. The singer spent the summer of 2016 on the road for his Six String Circus Tour and is set to headline Country Jam 2017 and the 2017 Taste of Country Music Festival in June.
