The WalletHub study looked at 570 US cities comparing resident's income, age, debt to income ratio, monthly income to monthly expenses and savings to monthly expenses.

In comparison, folks in Palo Atlo, CA spend the most at $2,821! In Baton Rouge, the average spend is $515 and in New Orleans it's $488. Dallas, TX doesn't spend much differently at $514.
