Help A Northwest Louisiana Family In Need Today
Today is the day to give to the less fortunate among us. The Community Foundation of North Louisiana presents Give For Good, the annual event that lasts all day, May 2nd. From 12:00am to 11:59pm you can give to any of 176 participating non-profit organizations. It’s a day of giving to celebrate the nonprofits’ good work in our community and a chance for them to raise thousands of dollars to help those in need.
Many of the participating agencies will be hosting special events throughout the day:
Goodwill Industries of North Louisiana: Happy Hour! Celebrate Give for Good at Flying Heart Brewing (700 Barksdale Blvd., Bossier City). Moni’s Brats will also be offering tasty German food from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Holy Angels: Gather on the patio at Wine Country (4800 Line Avenue, Shreveport) and listen to live music. Complimentary samples from The Jason Brady Restaurant Group will be available for guests throughout the night from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
