Former Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott was arrested just past midnight Saturday and charged with driving under the influence.

Prescott was driving a 2016 Cadillac Escalade when he was taken into custody by Starkville police. The Haughton High grad  was later released on bond.

Earlier in the week, Prescott, who is expected to be a high pick in the upcoming pro draft, had worked out for scouts from 30 NFL teams.

Prescott was projected by analysts to be a second or third round draft selection.
