The Haughton Farmer's Market and Artisan Fair will kick off it's Fall Season this Saturday, October 17 in the parking lot of Ivey's Lumber on Highway 80 in Haughton.

New this fall are vendors selling organically raised and fed pork, chicken and duck products. Another vendor will be selling pickled quail eggs and quail products.

Locally grown produce and heirloom organic produce will be sold by growers from the Haughton and Princeton areas. Squash, melons, greens, satsumas, cucumbers, pie pumpkins, okra, eggplants and more.

Locally sourced Raw and Creamed Honey along with many canned jellies, pickles and salsa.

A select group of Artisans come to together to offer the community high quality crafts that set this market apart from the rest.

Several local groups will be highlighted each Saturday and entertainment will be provided each week by CeCe the Clown.

  • Oct 24 and Nov 7: Bossier Parish Fire Station Hwy 80
  • Nov 7: Face Painting by Becky
  • Oct 31: Painted pumpkin contest and candy for the kids. Contest judge is Lane Raley, Princeton Elementary Art Teacher & WERLA wild animal displays and education
  • Oct 24 and Nov 14: Bossier Parish Sheriff Office Dare Car, fingerprinting and motorcycle unit displays.
