Happy Birthday Johnny Cash

Johnny Cash born J R Cash and called JR by his parents Ray Cash and Carrie Cloveree. Johnny Cash graced the world on February 26, 1932. The country music outlaw had a legendary career selling over 100 million records. His unique style is often imitated, and many artists of many genres consider him one of their major influences. Johnny Cash was married to Vivian and moved to Memphis, Tennessee and sold appliances all while chasing that country music dream. He mustered up the courage to go in and audition at Sun Records and the rest is history. Johnny Cash met June Carter 13 years prior to proposing to her while on stage in London, Ontario. The couple married on March 1, 1968, in Franklin, Kentucky and later had a son John Carter Cash.
