This Saturday will mark the 17th annual Great American Cleanup, the country's largest community improvement program. 20,000 communities across the U.S. will take part including Shreveport and Bossier City.

Shreveport Green is a local organization involved in helping are communities and on Saturday April 18th, over 1,000 Shreveport and Caddo Parish residents will help rid the streets of litter as well as plant trees and improve public spaces.

Bossier Parish is also involved in the event through Keep Bossier Beautiful.
