Gary McCoy Eats Worm-Filled Cookie and Loves It

Rusty Scarborough of the Walter B. Jacobs Nature Park in Blanchard, stopped by the Kiss Country studio Monday morning to promote the upcoming "Bugs, Bats and Bones" on October 29 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and he brought a big box of cookies with him. Cookies filled with wax worms!

The cookies which are white chocolate, macadamia, and wax worms of course, are one of the featured items on the "Cafe' Insecta" menu that'll be featured at the Oct. 29 event and it was Rusty's intent to get both Bristol and me to eat them.  Bristol was having no part of it!

But, being a redneck to the core, I wasn't even the slightest bit afraid to take the plunge. In all honesty, they were REALLY good!  Wish I had taken a couple more for the road.
