When new comers come to live and play in our little corner of paradise, some find themselves feeling like a stranger in a strange land. We don't blame you! We can be a bit... peculiar... but we mean well and no one eats like we do in Shreveport/Bossier City!

Gary has lived here most of his life and I've lived here for the majority of mine as well, so we feel qualified to offer you advice on how to properly assimilate to Southern culture and we're ready to help you with your Southern integration. Rule one... Southern should always be capitalized. We don't care what your English teacher says on the subject, they're wrong. We're proud of being from the South and we show it every chance we get from displaying fleur-de-lis, cheering on LSU's Fighting Tigers or wearing purple, green and gold even when it's not Mardi Gras season!

But just because things are different here, it doesn't mean we're bad. Eccentric is probably more appropriate, but I digress, here's episode one of your Southern primer aka Shreveport/Bossier's New Comers Guide to Proper Southern Integration... from the folks from so far down South, they still consider sushi bait.
