By now, everybody and their momma knows that Garth Brooks is bringing his World Tour to Lafayette's Cajundome for five big shows June 23rd through July 1st.

We cannot wait! As we're all getting pumped up for these shows many folks are in "pre-game" mode as they consume everything Garth.

I'm no different. That's why last night I tuned in to Garth's "Studio G" on his Facebook page. He does this live series every Monday and answers questions from fans and expounds on the latest news regarding his music, concerts and just everything Garth.

There was one fan who got to ask him a question via video last night that caught my attention. Her name was Michelle from Lake Charles and she seems to be quite the fan because Garth responded that he knew her.

She told Garth how excited she was to bring friends and family to see him in Lafayette. Then she asked a fairly general question: "Do you have any favorite foods, memories or any other favorite things about Louisiana in general?"

Garth's answer to this question was as you could expect. He mentioned eating crawfish and getting taken care of by the good folks down here. But it's what he said about the upcoming shows that caught my attention.

"We're gonna bring a surprise down there to you guys. So all I can tell you is get your singing voice ready because it could be forever, if you're catching my drift," said Garth.

What could this mean? In my opinion it has to be either some type of live recording. Maybe a live album, live DVD, TV special?

We're gonna bring a surprise down there to you guys. So all I can tell you is get your singing voice ready because it could be forever, if you're catching my drift.

He would go on to say, "This is gonna be a crazy two weekends. And I promise you're gonna hear that weekend again and again and again long after the weekend is over. I'm excited. It's gonna be fun."

Whatever he has in store, it sounds like it's going to be epic. In the meantime, we'll get to snooping around and asking some of our connections what this message by the G Man could possibly mean!

If you'd like to check out the video from Studio G that we're referencing, here it is. To go straight to the question we're talking about here, go just past the 8:00 mark.
