Three children were injured Monday after an inflatable bounce house they were playing in became airborne.

According to news reports, a 10-year-old girl suffered only minor injuries after being thrown from the toy. Two other children weren’t so lucky when the house flew upwards of 50 feet in the air more than 2 stories high.

The boys -- one five and the other six -- were seriously injured after one fell onto a parked car and the other to the street below.

Witnesses to the horrifying accident say the bounce house had been staked to the ground prior to a gust of wind upward of 25 mph carrying the house over a stretch of woods before dropping it on a two-story schoolhouse.
