Do you remember double and triple coupon days? I guess that is what started my fascination with saving money. I honestly believe the sense of joy I get from saving might be comparable to that of someone who just won the Powerball. . .even if it is a couple of dollars.

Yesterday, when we picked up a $5 large pizza and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, I started thinking, we should really share more information between each other about where to find the best deals in Shreveport Bossier. (The pizza was from Little Ceasars in front of Wal Mart on East Bert Kouns---you have probably seen the kids with earbuds in their ears looking miserable shaking the signs back and forth advertising the $5 pizzas? It was GOOD and instantly available! And it fed 4 people for $5!!)

How do you save money? Growing up, I remember my mom carting us around in Monroe to the "Kids Eat Free" nights. There is no telling how much money she saved by working the "Kids Eat Free" calendar.

What about clothing? Do you know any tricks to save money on school clothes? Maybe Plato's Closet? Or tax free weekend shopping?

Who has the best deals? Let's save money together!!
