UPDATE (11:53 a.m.): According to information revealed at an NYPD press conference, the device found at the CNN NYC building appeared to be live. A white powder was also found in the package and is being investigated. Police say there is no threat currently, but any suspicious activities should be reported to 911 and there will be a heightened police presence.

UPDATE (11:39 a.m.) A package sent to former Attorney General Eric Holder was also intercepted after being sent to the wrong address. Like all the other packages, the return address pointed to Debbie Wasserman Schultz' office which is where the package was found and subsequently why her office was evacuated.

A bomb squad is currently on the scene and a briefing in NYC will follow within the next hour.

UPDATE (9:10 a.m.): Another suspicious package addressed to the White House has been intercepted and is similar to the devices sent to Clinton, Soros, and Obama. Officials say all devices are functional and could easily hurt someone.

The FBI now says a bomb was also sent to The White House and the device contained "projectiles." And, the FBI now says all of the bombs are connected ... presumably to the same perpetrator(s)

Law enforcement officials say the devices were similar to the one found on Monday at the home of billionaire philanthropist George Soros. The device delivered to the Clintons were found at their Westchester home while the package addressed to Obama was intercepted in Washington D.C.

Officials do believe the bombs sent to Soros, the Clintons, and Obama were from the same perpetrator.

No one has claimed responsibility for any of the devices and no motive is clear.
