Opening for George Strait on his “Cowboy Rides Away” tour is not an opportunity you take lightly. Just ask Eric Church.

The night before the show the “Springsteen” singer accidentally cut his finger to the bone, but refused to go to the emergency room.

"I didn't go to the emergency room because I was worried the stitches would take me out of the show," he explained. "I'm not missing this George Strait show!"

So he dipped his finger in kerosene to stop the pain, then super glued and wrapped the wound.

It worked...at least until he went onstage and found that he couldn't play guitar wearing the wrap. He took it off and let it bleed.

"I have my jeans from that night, got blood all over them," Church said. "I thought it was kinda rock and roll, bleeding all over your guitar."

And he never did get stitches on the cut he just kept taping it up until it healed.

We’ll all be able to see how well that finger healed when Eric opens his The Outsiders world tour right here in Bossier City.
