Could you imagine having Captain Kirk as your father? I mean, growing up on the USS Enterprise would be ridiculously cool, right? William Shatner already has three daughters but there’s a man who claims to be his son and he’s suing Shatner for $170 million and wants him to take a DNA test. Shatner's rep says, quote, "Mr. Shatner is aware of the lawsuit, but there's nothing there because he isn't his father." BTW, the guy claiming to be his son is a radio DJ… Yep, we’ll do just about anything for attention. SMH

Word has it that Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger is going to be making an appearance during a group date on the upcoming season of The Bachelorette with Jojo which isn’t that surprising considering that Jordan Rodgers is one of her potential beaus this year… Jordan is the brother of Green Bay Packer Aaron Rodgers who was an undrafted free agent in the NFL before moving on to play in Canada. Word has it he is looking for a job in TV back in the states, so maybe being on The Bachelorette is his in? Either way, I think it’s safe to assume we’ll be seeing a football themed date during the upcoming season.

She may have had a poster of him on her wall at one point… allegedly… Talking about Kelsea Ballerini and its official, she’ll be dueting with Nick Jonas this Sunday at the ACM Awards!

Uh oh… Blake Shelton may have landed in some hot water. He’s being accused of ‘false testimony’ with regard to the defamation suit he filed about In Touch Weekly and his wonton ways. They said Blake was partying in a certain hotel in Cancun and in his suit, Blake says that couldn’t have happened because he wasn’t there… But In Touch says they have an Instagram photo of him in that hotel and with his arm around some unnamed woman.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the internet rumor about Step Brothers 2 being filmed in Bossier City is a hoax… No, you won’t see Will Ferrell at Silver Star eating David Alvis’ au gratin potatoes. It’s kinda like that rumor from a few weeks ago saying that Taylor Swift was buying a house on Cross Lake… Snopes, people, Snopes… Everything you see on the internet isn’t the gospel!
