Yesterday afternoon, another blow was delivered to the music world with the loss of legendary Eagles guitarist Glenn Frey. The singer/songwriter and co-founder of the Eagles passed at just 67-years-old of complications from rheumatoid arthritis, acute ulcerative colitis and pneumonia.

Shreveport’s own Becca Tilley has made it through week three on The Bachelor. Now, I’m not going to lie and say I watched last night… the show is safely waiting on my DVR, but I can give you the highlights. First off, hot tubs play a big part of the show yet again… Olivia is still self-obsessed, Jubilee finally comes out of her shell and Bachelor Ben Higgins backs her and shocker here… Lace realizes she needs to do some work on herself and leaves the show. Can Billy Ray finally breathe a sigh of relief? Is his daughter finally settling down? According to TMZ, Miley Cyrus just might be moving in with her former fiancée Liam Hemsworth (like literally moving in, using a U-Haul and free labor from her friends just like you or I would) after breaking their engagement in 2013 and pretty much going off the deep end. I’ve also seen reports that she’s wearing her engagement ring again… But that’s nothing compared to the rumor that all her pets moved in with her: four dogs, a pig and two cats at last count. Add that to his pre-existing pets and that quite a menagerie.

So you didn’t have the time or money to go to Luke Bryan’s Crash My Playa in Mexico this weekend… Don’t worry! He says there will be plenty of other concert vacations… in fact, he might do them yearly! Of course Luke is coming to us along with Dustin Lynch Saturday, March 12, 2016 in Bossier City at the CenturyLink Center and you know we’ll have more chance to win free tickets the closer we get to the show.

Despite the fact that Chris Rock is hosting the Oscars, Jada Pinkett Smith and Spike Lee announced yesterday, yes, on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, that they are boycotting the awards because of a lack of diversity in the nominees. I think it’s worth noting, the head of the Oscars, Cheryl Boone, is not only African American, she promises to take action to ‘alter the make-up of their membership.’

Netflix is serious about original content. Word is that they’ve dedicated $6 billion to create 600 hours of original programming this year.
