Six days a week, Gary and Bristol get up before the sun shines to bring you the latest from Nashville, New York City and Hollywood with Entertainment this Morning!

Just one day after the loss of her daughter Carrie Fisher, we lost Debbie Reynolds at 84-years-old yesterday due to a stroke. Reynolds was at her son Todd’s home helping to plan her daughter’s funeral arrangements when he called 911. The actress whose career spanned seven decades starred in Singin’ in the Rain alongside Gene Kelly and in The Unsinkable Molly Brown. In addition to movies, Reynolds entertained on Broadway, in Las Vegas nightclubs and even had her own TV show for a season, The Debbie Reynolds Show. Some of my favorite shows that Reynolds was in were Halloweentown and she was also the voice of Lulu Pickles in Rugrats.

Darius Rucker had a big night Tuesday night at the 2016 Kennedy Center Honors. He paid tribute to James Taylor and performed a medley of Sweet Baby James and Carolina In My Mind.

Back in June, we said goodbye to Rockin’ Rodeo in Bossier and that club has been around as long as I can remember, even going back to 1980 when we were first stationed at Barksdale… Oh yes, those were the days of Cowboys that will live on in infamy!  Well, the club is back and it’s been remodeled from head to toe. It’ll open tonight as Big Country under new management and my favorite part? The old karaoke room is now a full service bar and restaurant!
