It was a weak weekend at the box office. The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows only made $35.3 million and the Andy Samberg movie Popstar only brought in $4.6 million.

By the time I heard about this yesterday morning, they had already deleted the offending material but apparently enough people saw it to know that both Kellie Pickler and Brett Eldredge’s Twitter accounts had been hacked. The hackers posted nasty slurs and sexually explicit messages that were soon removed.

We have three Louisiana teams still in contention in the NCAA Regional Baseball tournaments. LSU earned a place in the championship game last night in the NCAA Baseball Regional in Baton Rouge beating Rice 6-2. Rice will go on to play Southeastern Louisiana who lost to Utah Valley State this afternoon with the winner taking on LSU tonight at 6:25pm.

ULL beat both Princeton and Arizona in the Lafayette Regional and will face Arizona who won the elimination game last night today at 1pm.

Louisiana Tech was knocked out of contention by Mississippi State in the Starkville Regional and Tulane fell to Boston College in the Oxford Mississippi Regional.
