At this writing, we're only a couple hours away from the solar eclipse and the world is spinning with lots of untruths, half-truths, sheer rumor and misinformation in regards to the safety of viewing the eclipse.

Bristol and I had the opportunity this morning to visit with Dr. Gabrielle Boyd, an optometrist, and my niece, and get some real good common sense advice on how to safely view today's eclipse.

Along with these ideas, she was quick to point out that she was "sad that some people that would actually miss this event, because they feared for loss of their eyesight."
