We are entering into Wrestlemania season and this time of the year A LOT of stuff happens. We have people making their WWE debuts, storylines are starting to be ironed out and WWE starts announcing who will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Despite the criticism that the WWE HOF isn't a real Hall of Fame because it doesn't have a physical location, many in the wrestling community hold being inducted as one of the highest honors one can receive. Current members include legends like Ric Flair, Roddy Piper, Iron Sheik and many others.

And, out of the pro wrestlers not currently in the HOF, 'Dr. Death' Steve Williams and Vader are two that need to be in immediately. Aside from being a long time Bossier/Shreveport resident, Dr Death is one of the best old school wrestlers to ever lace up a pair of boots.

Many will point to Williams' accomplishments in Japan (much like WWE Hall of Famer Stan Hanson) as reason enough to get a spot in the Hall...but he is so much more than that. He is a former NWA Champion, UWF Champion, multiple time tag champion in several organizations including WCW and has 3 5 Star Matches under his belt. Hell, the only reason he wasn't bigger in WWE/F is that Bart Gunn blew out his ear drum in a shoot fight, which ruined his myth and build.

But, probably the most important reason Steve Williams should be inducted is because he was a world class worker. It may not seem like much to someone that doesn't know professional wrestling, but the entire business is built on respect. For performers to put on a top notch match, each has to have trust and respect for each other and Steve Williams was one of the most highly respected wrestlers in the business.

Hit Triple H on FB, on Twitter...let's raise some hell and get one of our guys into where he belongs!
