Do you remember chain mail? Well that is exactly what this is. The message you might have seen that reads something like "Hi....I actually got another friend request from you yesterday...which I ignored so you may want to check your account. Hold your finger on the message until the forward button appears...then hit forward and all the people you want to forward too....I had to do the people individually. Good Luck! PLEASE DO NOT ACCEPT A NEW ONE FROM ME AT THIS TIME." This message is silly, and not something to be wasting time worrying about.

The reason why this message is spreading around so quickly isn't because this is actually happening. People are just following the directions of the message. The best thing to do is ignore it, and maybe kindly inform your friend who sent it to you.

Yes, people do get hacked and things happen on Facebook. For example, I have gotten messages before that reads "saw you in this video!" then there is a link below it. Never click on that link! That is a way for you to hand over your information to someone to use. According to New Rochelle Daily Voice, this isn't one of those times.
