Don Tubbs – This Week’s Caught in the Act Award Recipient

We're biased when it comes to Don Tubbs, but we're glad to know that others see that he sets the standard for kindness and giving and that's why he's this week's Caught in the Act Award recipient!

Many know Don from Tubbs Hardware and Rentals and Tubbs Cajun Gifts. He's been a fixture in our community for years supporting our community. But in addition to helping organizations like Operation Santa Claus, the Ray Forcier Rodeo, Downtown Shreveport Unlimited, local law enforecment and more through his business, he also helps on a personal basis.

Renissa Seekings wrote to us to nominate him as this week's Caught in the Act Award recipient. Here's what she had to say:

Don Tubbs has been a family friend and in my life for 20 years now. He is many things to many people: father, friend, boss (lol), grandfather "Pops", but for me personally, I see him as a blessing. He has helped me so much in the past two years. I literally thank God for him in my prayers. I became pregnant in 2014 and once it became clear I'd be a single mother, I needed help. He helped me get a safe vehicle, gave wonderful gifts and made it possible for me to raise my daughter in a wonderful home. He is a great man who is always helping his community and I think he is the best candidate to win this award. I nominated him for Caught in the Act in hopes he see this and knows how much I really do appreciate him!!!

Don Tubbs, thank you for being one of the "good guys" and a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!
