Here is a great tip to fill your garden full of gorgeous plants and save some money! It's time for the annual Northwest Louisiana Master Gardeners Association Spring plant sale. Even better, they can help you pick plants and give you tips on keeping them alive! Keeping them alive is always the challenging part for me!

The sale will take place Saturday, March 31st from 8 a.m. to noon at the Randle T. Moore Center (the corner of Kings and Fairfield).  There will be multiple varieties of native plants as well as a gardening help clinic by LSU Ag Center horticulturalist Denyse Cummins.

Here is a tip I've learned (from years of murdering poor, innocent plants): If you want plants that will thrive, go native!
