Dallas Cowboys’ Ezekiel Elliot Suspended for Violation of NFL’s Policy
The NFL League has suspended the Dallas Cowboys coveted Ezekiel Elliot for 6 games. The League decided to suspend Elliot after their investigation concerning several allegations made against Elliot. Elliot’s Ex-Girlfriend Tiffany Thompson accused Ezekiel Elliot of assaulting her in July of 2016. Elliot adamantly denied the claims. Ezeikel Elliot was not arrested or charged.The NFL League conducted their own investigation into the matter. The leagues discoveries during the investigation led them to believe that Elliot violated the NFL’s Personal Conduct Policy. “Conduct by anyone in the league that is illegal, violent, dangerous, or irresponsible puts innocent victims at risk, damages the reputation of others in the game, and undercuts public respect and support for the NFL” According to Elliot’s representatives he plans to appeal his suspension, he has three business days to file notice of appeal.
Ezekiel Elliot’s ex-girlfriend, Tiffany Thompson took to Instagram after the incident and posted photos of her bruises and urged other women who were in abusive relationships to step away from domestic violence. If you have Elliot on your fantasy league you may want to trade him out!
