Coty Jeter is living proof that some people are just born doing things the right way. That doesn't mean that sometimes doing the right thing doesn't have a little sting to it, it just means that people like Coty aren't afraid of that sting and always manage to show their incredibly high standards.

It was his wife, Sissy Jeter, who wrote to tell us about Coty's heart, compassion and his giving spirit that we easily recognized and we were tickled to name him this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award. Just see the letter she wrote and you'll agree.

Coty is not only my husband but my best friend. He is always doing for others. He works out of town for 2 weeks and then he is home for a week. During that week home, he is never at home. He is always out and about doing something. If you call him to help with something he is there - no questions asked. About a month ago, tickets were being sold for a fundraiser for a friend of ours, Brandon Edens, who is battling a brain tumor. I had 20 tickets that I was going to sale - I didn't have to - Coty bought all 20 of them - $400 worth. The raffle tickets were for a 100th anniversary edition Harley Davidson. Any one that knows Coty knows that his dream is to have a Harley Davidson motorcycle. This weekend during our Ride For Life event in Springhill the drawing was held. Low and behold, Coty won the Harley. What he did next stunned the entire crowd. He had Brandon come up and Coty gav e Brandon the motorcycle. Needless to say, there wasn't a dry eye in the house. Coty gave up his dream motorcycle so that Brandon could keep it or sale it to use the money for his continued treatments. This is the type of man Coty is.

Coty Jeter, thank you for being one of the "good guys" and a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!

And because you've been "Caught in the Act" the gang at Silver Star Smokehouse have a $100 Gift Certificate for you and the family to come have dinner on them!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Coty to let him know that he was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
