Pokemon Go has taken over the world. There are people playing so aggressively there are police departments and departments of transportation are issuing warnings to players. Coworkers are getting annoyed, and some places of business are rumored to be banning employees from playing.

But none of that is stopping the people of the Shreveport/Bossier area from playing like crazy!

There have already been discussions of officially sanctioned Pokemon pub crawls, or Poke-Crawls, and groups have already been forming unofficially to play throughout the city. There are bars who are wisely taking advantage of the craze, by purchasing "lures" in the game and using them at their establishments.

But with all of the game-play going on, and teamwork happening, there's not a lot of direction online for players in the Shreveport/Bossier area. So let's fix that.

I opened a forum online with my Pokemon Go friends to find out where some of the coolest Pokestops are, and where they're hunting to "Catch 'Em All"...here's a little of what I found:

Emili Holloway suggested:  the Duck Pond, and LSUS

I know, they're not specific, but hopefully as more people travel to more Pokestops, we can get a better grasp on which are better and for what reasons. So hit up some of these areas, check out all of the Pokestops, and try to keep track of which ones you prefer, and what makes you like it.

Oh, and when you catch your strongest, let us know! We're looking for the strongest Pokemon in Shreveport!

Lastly, it should be noted that our studios, here at the 99X World Headquarters is also a Pokestop! Not that there have been a huge number of rare Pokemon caught here, and we rarely plug in "Lures", but you're welcome to stop by and reload on Pokeball!
