If you haven't been watching pro wrestling lately, you really should be.

Even if you haven't watched in 10 years, there's a lot of reasons why you need to catch up before Wrestlemania 33 this April. First of all, Goldberg is back in the ring. Not only that, he's the champion. No joke, it's 2017, and Bill Goldberg is the WWE Universal Champion.

But maybe more impressive is the career year that Chris Jericho is having. This guy came back to the WWE as a fling. Nothing more than a few months to help raise the profile of some young talent. But then he did something that he hadn't done in a wrestling ring over his last few stops with the company...he started having fun.

Along the way, he got close with a younger talent named Kevin Owens.

Jericho and Owens were having fun out there, playing off each other on promos, messing with other stars, and putting together one of the best years of Jericho's legendary career. Culminating in the two "Best Friends" both carrying the two biggest singles titles on the WWE's Raw brand, the Universal on Owens shoulder, and the US Title on Jericho's waist.

The story blew up 3 weeks ago, when Owens turned on Jericho, and smashed him into the screen of a TV.

Then last night, during the Fastlane pay-per-view, Owens was defending his title against Goldberg, when Jericho distracted Owens, leading to him losing his title. Which then led Jericho calling Owens out tonight on Raw.

When Owens came out to confront Jericho, they set up their Wrestlemania match, which will be a US Title match, a title Owens hasn't held in his extremely successful, yet young, WWE career.

Even with all of the other great matches that are falling into place for Mania (Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt, Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar, Bayley vs. Sasha vs. Charlotte Flair) this Jericho vs. Owens match might be the most anticipated.
