Billy Currington is bringing his "We are Tonight" tour to the Horseshoe Casino Riverdome on Friday, May 2. Billy called in to talk about the upcoming show, his latest album and something we can all agree with: it's good to finally get some warm weather!

Billy called in from Alabama and had no problem pointing out that he was enjoying the nice weather.

"We're working out with some dumb bells and soaking up some sun, because it's been a long winter," Billy said. "We're thankful for a day like today."

Billy's career has been on a serious upswing lately, but did he ever imagine coming this far back in 2003 when he released his first album? Billy admitted it was something he constantly thought about.

"That was my dream," he said. "I thought about it all the time."

The "Hey Girl" singer added that the more no. 1 songs he gets, the better the shows get. Fans can probably agree.

Billy admitted he loves to play Blackjack, but said it's tough to find the time during his busy touring schedule to hit the casinos. However, he added that he's going to try to find some time to enjoy Shreveport-Bossier's offerings.

And what about his hair? The ladies love it! But has he ever tried covering it up with an, oh, we don't know...cowboy hat?

"I come from south Georgia and it's not really the thing to do down there," he said. "It just don't fit a man who wears flip flops all the time."

Before he headed out to life more weights and chill out, Billy helped us pick a phrase for Kiss Country listeners to use to win tickets and backstage passes to his show.

"How about 'coconut man,'" he said. "Because that's what I am. I'm the coconut man."
