Hey, it's Gary McCoy, and the first time I met Chris Cagle, his single "My Love Goes On and On" was rapidly climbing the record charts and I'd booked him for a concert at the Downtown Shreveport Airport for a summer hot air balloon event.

It was a classic Louisiana summer afternoon.  It would rain hard for about 30 minutes and then the heat would rise to over 100 degrees.  Then, the rain would come again.  It went "on and on" like this most of the day and chased off nearly the entire audience.  At showtime there were only a couple dozen fans left, but Chris never acted like it.

Instead, he played like he was in the middle of a packed house in Death Valley.  His energy was amazing!  And the next time I saw him at Billy Bob's in Fort Worth, he played with the same audience electrifying energy.  Fans loved every minute of the show!

Of course, he's had a few bumps in the road since those early days, but with his trouble long behind him, he's working to reclaim his rightful place in the hearts of country fans and is once again heading to Shreveport/Bossier and will hit The Stage at Silverstar this Friday night.

If the past is any indicator of the future, this is a concert you definitely don't want to miss!  Doors will open to those 21 and up beginning at 7:00 pm.
