Chimp Haven’s Fall Festival This Saturday Oct 11th

What better way to usher in the fall season than with Chimp Haven’s Fall Festival 2014! This Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. go to the sanctuary for carnival flare with games and foods, local band, Cajun-Dixon Line, cake walks, a string maze, face painting, chimpanzee story time, behind-the-scenes tours and our beloved resident chimpanzees.

In addition to fun activities, children are invited to come dressed in their best Halloween costume to enter the Chimp Haven Halloween Costume Contest for a fantastic prize.

Plus, sanctuary visitors are also encouraged to bring jars of peanut butter for the chimpanzees. The individual who brings in the most peanut butter will win a prize package that includes a behind-the-scenes tour valued at $400.
