Lakeview High School's baseball team has caught Chad Fredieu in the act of doing good. In fact, the team owes a lot fo Chad, who doesn't even have a kid old enough to play on the team. As an alumni of Lakeview, Chad truly believes that "home is where the heart is" and he's doing all he can to help his former high school.

And it's pretty awesome, when the Coach even notices that extra effort. We received Chad's nomination letter from Coach Daniel Gannon, who just couldn't say enough about how grateful he was for Chad's efforts. And once you read the letter, it will be easy to see why Chad was a shoe-in for this week's Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

My name is Daniel Gannon. I am the head Baseball Coach at Lakeview Jr Sr High School. I would like to nominate Chad Fredieu for caught in the act. I've known Chad for 2 years now. For the past year and a half Chad has been one of the driving forces that have supported Lakeview Baseball. He has been the driving force behind the first and second annual Lakeview Alumni Baseball game. He organizes the whole event. One game being played between the current team and a alumni team. The second game is played between two alumni teams. Chad gets all the alumni of Lakeview Gator Baseball involved in this event. It is one of our biggest fundraisers. Last year Chad and the Alumni were able to donate cash and equipment for our team valued at over $1000. Chad does everything he can to support our program. This year Chad was able to talk with one of his supervisors at his job that secured us $1200 worth of concession stand needs to start the season. He has also organized a raffle with the alumni, raffling off a 12 Gauge shot gun. He has volunteered his time to help with our Jr high team as well. Coming to practice after work to help with our 7th and 8th graders. Chad does all of this to support a school he loves and attended and does it all even though his own children are just in elementary school and do not attend Lakeview Jr Sr High School. All the support Chad has given is why I believe that Chad should be this week's caught in the act.

Chad Fredieu, thank you for being one of the "good guys" and being a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!

And because you've been 'Caught in the Act' the gang at Silver Star Smokehouse and Silver Star Grille have a $100 Gift Certificate for you and the family to come have dinner!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Chad to let him know that he was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
