Grab your best jeans, dust off your hat and put your boots on, it's almost time for the 15th Annual Cass County Championship Rodeo.  Slated for Friday and Saturday, April 24 and 25 at 8:00 pm nightly, the rodeo will be held at the Cass County Rodeo Grounds in Linden, Texas.

Tickets are $8.00 for adults and $4.00 for kids 6 to 12.  Children 5 and under are free.

Each year the Cass County Championship Rodeo Association gives a graduating senior from each of the seven schools in Cass County a scholarship and donates money to an organization in the community each year.  And this year, a portion of the Friday night ticket sales will be donated to the Cass County Relay for Life.

Some of the highlights of this year's rodeo includes:

  • Critter Scramble Nightly sponsored by: Bowie-Cass Electric - FREE TO PARTICIPATE!!  The famous critter scramble is back for the children ages 5 & under and 10 & Under. There will be two scrambles nightly - In this event the farm critters (goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, guineas, pigs, roosters, etc) are all set free in the arena and the children get to keep the critter they catch!!
  • Mutton Bustin Nightly at 7:30 pm - $10 to enter. 7 Years old and younger AND 55 pounds or less.  Winner each night receives a Belt Buckle
  • Rob Smets autograph sessions nightly at 6:45 pm.  Rob Smets "Kamikaze" will again serve as the announcer this year! He is the ONLY 5-Time World Champion Bullfighter and a 9-Time Professional Bull Riders World Champion Bullfighter
