Before you know it, football season will be here! And what better way is there to celebrate than getting your budding linebackers and quarterbacks enrolled in a football camp designed by champions of the game?

Get ready for the sixth-annual Camping World Independence Bowl Youth Football Clinic! The clinic is set for Saturday, June 4.

In a press release from The Camping World Independence Bowl, it states:

The clinic – open to all children ages 5 through 13 – will be held at Independence Stadium in Shreveport and will run from 8 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Registration will begin at 7 a.m. at the southwest entrance of Independence Stadium.

Registration for the clinic is free, and can be submitted online at CampingWorldIndependenceBowl.com. Parents must register their children in advance of the clinic, and registration for the clinic will close at 400 participants.

Participants of the clinic will receive instruction from college coaches from across the region. Coaches from Grambling State, Mississippi Valley State and Louisiana College have already committed to participate, with additional coaches expected to join.

Clinic participants will learn football fundamentals by going through offensive, defensive and special teams drills. Participants will also be taught different fitness techniques and the importance of being physically active.

Lunch and t-shirts will be provided free of charge at the conclusion of the clinic.
