Poor Alexis has had a really rough go of it, but we're hoping that you can help to turn that around for her! Alexis was found by a Shreveport Police Officer who found her being abused. Things got better when she was taken to the shelter, but she'd sure like her very own furever home and she's available for adoption right now at Pet Savers Shreveport!

Can you imagine what what it was like for this poor dog to be shot at with paint ball guns and to have bricks thrown at her? That's what was happening to Alexis when a Shreveport Police Officer found her while on patrol. Thankfully dogs have a heart big enough to overcome horrible treatment. In fact, you can see the hope in Alexis' eyes. Can you find it in your heart to open your home to her? Please share Alexis' story so we can help to find her a loving family.

Here's what the Pet Savers website has to say about Alexis:

Lucky for me a Shreveport police officer who was on patrol saw people shooting paintball guns and throwing bricks at me. She loaded me up in her car and took me home. She would have loved to keep me but her landlord wouldn't let her have any more dogs. So she brought me to Pet Savers. She said, I'm very friendly and I'm okay being in a kennel as long as you throw a blanket over it. My owners moved and left me behind to wander the streets. What I want more than anything is to find a forever home where I will be loved and cared for. Do you think you are the one who can open your heart and home to me?
