Bridget Bockhaus cried on the radio this morning, but they were good tears. She had just heard us read the nomination letter we received about her from her friend Jennifer Trujillo and it was a doozie.

And even though Bridget and Jennifer are really good friends, Bridget confesses she had no idea of the impact she'd made on Jennifer's heart with all of her acts of kindness.

Because of those acts, it was really easy to recognize Bridget Bockhaus as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

Just read the letter we got from Jennifer about Bridget and you'll see why this an easy choice.

Bridget is the administrator/director of nursing at a pediatric facility that provides medical daycare services to children whose medical conditions require technology-based and/or skilled nursing intervention. If that doesn't tell you enough right there, I don't know what else would! She is very involved in her church! Bridget goes above and beyond to help others, whether it's people in her community, family, friends, her church or even someone she doesn't know! If she hears someone has a death, a new addition to the family, a tragedy, medical issues, finicaial difficulties or anything for that matter, she will find a way to provide them with dinner, collect needed items or whatever it might be to make sure the person/family is helped! Being a very close friend of mine, she has helped me in so many ways and I just admire her kindness to others. I want her to know that her acts of kindness and caring never go unnoticed!

Bridget Bockhaus, thank you for being an inspiration to us all and a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!

And because you've been "Caught in the Act" the gang at Silver Star Smokehouse have a $100 Gift Certificate for you and the family to come have dinner on them!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Bridget to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
