It's not exactly news that the Toys R Us in Bossier City is closing down.  You may have even suspected that a huge sale would occur as the now-defunct toy paradise attempted to turn what inventory they had left into cash before the doors shut forever.  Those assumptions are correct, but the timeline is much shorter than we imagined.

I aimed at using this situation to my advantage this weekend, but I may be too late.  Now that the discounts have hit the 50% to 70% level, I thought it was high time I picked up a few Christmas presents at deep discounts and get ahead of the game (for once).  What I found was a sad shell of the former toy Mecca.  More than half of the store is cordoned off as workers completely disassemble shelves, end caps, and more as they prepare to sell literally everything but the floor, walls, and ceiling.

What they do have left is crowded into the few open aisles they have left open to the public.  If you want to cash in on Toys R Us's misfortune, you'd better hurry - they wont last long like this.
