The Bossier Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a Bossier Parish teenager who is missing and presumed to have run away from home.

Haley Nevada Jordan, 14, of the 200 block of Kingston Road in Benton, was last seen at her residence late Sunday night (Jan. 3), where she lives with her grandmother.   Her grandmother told detectives there have been some disciplinary issues at home, and she believes Haley may have sneaked out of the house through a window.

Haley, a freshman at Benton High School, is around 5 feet tall, weighs about 120 pounds and has long brown hair and brown eyes.  She has a large scar on her right cheek from a dog bite about a year ago.  Her grandmother says Haley was last wearing a black and multi-colored tank top and tan leggings, but says she may have changed clothes; Haley may be wearing a green military-style jacket which is missing from her room.

Detectives do not suspect foul play, but want to ensure Haley returns home safely.  If you know the whereabouts of Haley, please contact the Bossier Sheriff’s Office at (318) 965-2203 and ask to speak to a detective.
