Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington says agents with the Bossier Sheriff-Police Narcotics Task Force checked six businesses in Bossier City late last week for alcohol sales to persons under the age of 21, resulting in one arrest and compliance from five others.

This is the one store not in compliance with the law that did sell alcohol to underage buyers on July 30:

  • Shed Express, corner of Swan Lake Road and Shed Road (Clerk cited for Unlawful Sales to Persons Under 21:  Radwan Algahim)

These are the five stores in compliance with the law that did not sell alcohol to underage buyers:

  • Citgo, 900 block of Benton Road
  • Triple JJJ’s, 1600 block of Benton Road
  • Kangaroo Express, 2500 block of Benton Road
  • Valero, Airline Drive at Viking Drive
  • Food Mart, Swan Lake Road at Shed Road

The Bossier Sheriff-Police Narcotics Task Force comprises deputies with the Bossier Sheriff’s Office and officers with the Bossier City Police Department.
