Books & Brews Is the Most Unique Book Club in the Area

Every fourth Friday of the month the Bossier Parish Libraries host a book club called Books & Brews.

Instead of everyone reading the same book to read like most book clubs- they do things a little differently. They select a category and you pick your own book that fits in that category. For example, for the month of May readers had to pick a book with antonyms in the title. Books that would fit into that category could be War & Peace or Beauty and the Beast, as stated in their Facebook event page.

Their meeting is coming up for the month of May. Tomorrow, May 25th, they will be meeting up at the Red River Brewing Company at 6:30 p.m.

They also mention on their Facebook event page that "Participants are responsible for purchase of their own drinks and assume responsibility for their own transportation to and from the event." Have fun and enjoy a book while drinking responsibly.
