Blake Shelton, Chris Young, Toby Keith, Carrie Underwood and Scotty McCreery Among American Country Awards Winners

The American Country Awards were held Monday night on Fox and while the audio quality of the performances was markedly better than many other awards shows, and our own Hirsch Coliseum got a nice shout out from Trace Adkins when he stated that seeing Alabama perform there was the greatest concert he ever saw, many of the skits were almost embarrassing.
I guess it takes true professionals to pull off comedy. While Trace Adkins and co-host Kristin Chenoweth fell really short of the “comedy mark”Rodney Carrington had the audience in tears when the Janedear Girls asked him what designer he was wearing. In true professional form, he said “Bass Pro Shop”. Definitely my kind of man!
