This Saturday’s baseball game between the Benton Tigers and Ouachita Christian Academy from Monroe will most certainly be a sight for all spectators as the game has been declared a “Pink Out” game to benefit the Northwest Louisiana Affiliate of Susan G. Komen.

Money raised from this event will support breast health education, free screening mammograms, and breast cancer research provided by Susan G. Komen.

The game will begin at 3:00pm Saturday, April 26, at the Benton High Baseball Field. Players will be sporting pink uniforms, socks, and wristbands to show their support for the fight against breast cancer.

There will be numerous opportunities for fans to support the cause throughout the day. Pink miniature baseball bats and T-shirts promoting breast cancer awareness will be available for sale, along with early detection information to be given away.

Jase Robertson from Duck Dynasty has been invited and both schools are in high hopes of his attendance, but nothing is confirmed at this point.

For more information on the pink outs you can visit the Komen Northwest Louisiana Calendar of events at nwla.info-komen.org
