Battle of the Badges Weigh-Ins Tonight!

Over the past few months, I've talked a LOT about the Battle of the Badges tomorrow night (Friday April 14th) at the Horseshoe Casino. It is one of the funnest and most exciting charity events in the Ark-La-Tex. Not only is it all for a good cause but there is just something super exciting about watching Police and Fire guys beat the hell out of each other over departmental pride. And this year is even more special because you got a couple of personal scores to settle in the ring (and, shameless plug, I'm the special guest ring announcer).

If you want to go see some awesome fights and support some amazing causes, tickets are still available for Battle of the Badges. And just FYI, they have some raffle tickets you can buy from the SPD where you can win everything from a Cop Caddie to a brand new Glock Handgun, which is pretty bad ass. You can buy tickets online or you can come to the free weigh in tonight (Thursday April 13th) at Whiskey Roadhouse inside the Horseshoe Casino and pick up a pair there.

This is a really cool event where you can meet our local heroes before they lace up their boots and step into the ring. The weigh-ins start at 6pm and it is absolutely FREE! Come on out, buy me a beer and show some love to our local first responders.
